Next To You

Well that man of yours, I must admit
that he is surely on the handsome side
but it seems to me, that he is just a pretty package
that ain't got much on the inside

Well he is just a big ol' box with a lot of shiney wrappin'
when he's striking on his match, the sparks they just don't happen
get him out of my way, so I can get next to you.

I've been trying so hard to get next to you
you have no idea what I'm willing to do
there's no rivers I won't cross, or words I can't rhyme
there's no giants I won't fight or mountains I can't climb
I don't care where I am, just as long as I am next to you

I'd be your man, that ain't no myth
'cause you could sure do better than that gorrilla your with
just get him out of my way, so I can get next to you

You walked by, I had to check
but I turned so fast that I wrenched my neck
but I can live with the pain just as long as I am next to you
